EAN welcomes our newest counselor, Misty Peterson

Misty Peterson, M.A., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of North Carolina. She has lived in the Asheville community since 2007, and holds a Master’s in Counseling from Southwestern College, in Santa Fe, NM. She has worked in the field of counseling for over a decade and her background and experiences are varied. She has provided individual, group, and family therapy services to children, adolescents, as well as adults, addressing issues related to stress, anxiety, anger, trauma, and depression. She has also worked as a Clinical Director overseeing several local behavioral health programs, and providing both operational and clinical supervision to a large team of professionals. In her role as a clinician, she maintains a focus on wellness, resiliency, and recovery. As a Counselor at EAN she offers assessments, provides referrals, conducts brief counseling and consultation services, and facilitates training.

Want to make an appointment to see an EAN counselor?

Call 800-454-1477 and talk with the person who answers the phone. We will need to know the employer you or your family member has the EAN benefit through and some other demographic information to schedule your first appointment.

Insurance

Want to know who is in network to see a mental health provider through your insurance?

Call 800-454-1477 and talk with the person who answers the phone. We will need to know the employer who provides your health plan and if we manage the benefit, we will be able to connect you to an in network provider who specializes in the issues you want to work on.
