Emergency First Responders

Workshops are available to all EAN client companies.  Please contact your account manager, Dawn Klug or Misty Peterson for more information or to schedule a training date.

Dawn or Misty can be reached at 800-454-1477 or by email at dawn@eannc.com, or misty@eannc.com

Pre-Critical Incident Stress Management – This workshop was developed to help emergency service workers understand the impact responding to a particularly traumatic call can have on them, their co-workers and their family members.  Participants will also learn about healthy ways to care for themselves and co-workers before and after a traumatic call.

Managing High Risk Situations:  Potential risk of violence, suicide and substance abuse are all concerns that managers hope to never have to deal with. But when you do, there is help available.  In this workshop, we will review ways to respond in high risk situations and how to access resources.

EAN’s new workshop focus on First Responders – “Creating a Respectful Work Environment in a Multi-generational Workplace” – As efforts are being made to increase awareness on how workplace culture impacts First Responders, training on how to recognize, identify, and mitigate issues is important. This workshop provides definitions and information that leaders and employees need while also focusing on ways to create a work environment in which the culture does not allow harassment to thrive. In addition it provides an overview on the outlook and experiences of different generations to further promote a culture of respect within a multi-generational workplace.
